Scarpa Shoes is a mobile e-commerce app designed for shoe enthusiasts, combining online shopping with a unique shoe blogging feature. The platform allows users to explore and purchase footwear while engaging with style tips, reviews, and trend stories from other users and bloggers, creating a vibrant shoe-focused community.

Most mobile shopping platforms focus solely on transactions, missing the lifestyle and community aspects that influence fashion purchases—especially in niche markets like shoes. Shoppers often lack inspiration, trusted opinions, and a sense of connection when browsing for new footwear.

Scarpa Shoes merges commerce with content by integrating a shoe blogging feature alongside the shopping experience. This allows users to read and share posts about trends, styling advice, and personal reviews while browsing and purchasing shoes—all within the same app. The blend of social interaction and e-commerce enhances engagement and builds brand loyalty.

As the UI/UX designer, I led the end-to-end design process—from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, prototyping, and final visual design.

I focused on creating a clean, visually-driven interface that caters to both shoppers and content creators. Key priorities included intuitive navigation, a seamless shopping cart and checkout flow, and a smooth transition between reading blog content and shopping products.

I also ensured the experience felt aspirational yet accessible, aligning with the brand’s fashion-forward identity.
