Covideo: Leading Product Design for Covideo Over Five Years and Supporting Product Evolution Through to Acquisition

Covideo is a video communication platform that helps teams record, send, manage, and track personalized video content.
Over five years, I helped shape Covideo’s product experience across the web dashboard, mobile app, browser extension, and embedded workflows inside tools like Salesforce and Gmail.
Beyond UX/UI execution, the work involved ongoing product thinking, strategic decision-making, and close partnership across evolving user needs, team workflows, and business goals. The result was a more mature, more scalable product experience that supported Covideo’s growth through to acquisition.

Dashboard

Built for operational clarity. The dashboard was designed to help teams quickly understand what is happening across their video activity—from engagement and delivery to CTA performance, top users, and reporting trends.
Reporting without the usual clutter. We created a system of cards, charts, filters, tables, and custom views that makes large amounts of data easier to scan and compare. Instead of hiding analytics behind a few summary screens, the product supports both quick check-ins and deeper analysis.
Made for teams, not just individuals. Beyond metrics, the dashboard also supports library management, guides, permissions, customer accounts, user administration, and conversations. This turned the platform into a central workspace for managing video communication at scale.

Mobile App

Made for speed and flexibility. The mobile app was designed as a practical extension of the platform, giving users a fast way to record, upload, organize, and review videos while away from desktop.
More than a lightweight companion. We brought key features into mobile, including screen recording, analytics, chapters, merging videos, virtual backgrounds, and library management. The goal was to keep the experience simple in-hand while still making it genuinely useful.
Ready for guided workflows. Some mobile concepts also explored AI-assisted flows, helping users generate scripts, structure recordings, and move through more specialized tasks with clearer step-by-step guidance.

Outcome

One connected product experience. The result is a more cohesive system where the dashboard handles scale, reporting, and management, while the mobile app makes video creation and follow-up easier in real-world use. Together, they create a clearer, more flexible workflow across the full video journey.
