Deliverables: Brand Identity Design, Packaging Design

Zukae is an instant noodle brand made for late nights, quick breaks, and sudden cravings. It’s food with attitude, fast to cook, packed with flavour, and made to match your pace. Perfect for those moments when you want something hot, salty, and delicious, Zukae always hits the spot.

The Goal: The aim was to create a bold, flavour-packed brand identity that reflects the attitude of the product itself and stands out in a crowded instant food category.

The Approach: To achieve this, I developed a visual identity build on strong contrast and confident expression. I chose a striking colour combination of red and blue and paired it with a bold, chunky typeface for the logo to make sure it makes a statement wherever it appears.

To give the logo more character, I modified the letter “A” with a flowy twist, inspired by Japanese hiragana and the noodles at the heart of the brand.

For the photography, it was clear the visuals needed to make mouths water, so I used close-up shots of the dishes to highlight their irresistible look and paired them with playful taglines like “slurp louder” to enhance the craveability of the product.

The Outcome: The result is a brand identity that feels expressive and full of flavour, designed to catch the eye and spark the appetite.
