Deliverables: Brand Identity Design & Menu Design

Compani is a cozy café built around the simple joy of spending time with pets. It offers a welcoming space where both humans and animals can relax together. The menu features specially crafted treats for furry companions as well as comfortable seating made just for them. At Compani, pets aren’t just allowed, they’re celebrated.

The Goal: The project goal was to design an identity that reflects the café’s welcoming atmosphere and its pet-first approach.

The Approach: A sense of warmth, friendliness, and playfulness sat at the core of the brand identity. I started by choosing a chunky sans serif with rounded letterforms for the logotype. Its warm presence felt like the perfect fit. To hint at the café’s four-legged guests, I transformed the bowl of the letter “a” into a shaggy tail.

That same cozy feeling continues in the colour palette, with warm shades of yellow, orange, and brown. I also created playful illustrations of cats and dogs turned into drinks and desserts, which can be used both as patterns and as standalone graphics to further emphasise the brand’s love for pets and the everyday joy they bring.

The Outcome: The result is a cheerful, welcoming brand identity that captures Compani’s love for pets and the everyday joy they bring. It creates a space that feels playful and instantly inviting.
