Social media strategy at Ripl
Ripl is a social media marketing app with a goal of making social media management easier for small businesses and entrepreneurs. I worked to stay ahead of trends for our content but to also simplify and explain these trends to busy small business owners.
I managed their Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest
Highlights:
- Acted as the face of Ripl on social media videos such as Reels, TikTok videos,
Youtube Shorts, and Facebook Live to build brand awareness and provide educational
content for customer empowerment.
- Created and optimized strategy to drive traffic from social media resulting in a 43%
click through rate.
- Partnered with CRM and Customer Support to promote social media channel awareness
resulting in double the average growth rate for Instagram following.
- Created and executed a social media strategy that
led to an increase of engagement: +452.527% for Facebook, +266.883% for
Instagram, +57.5% for LinkedIn, and +55.6962% for Pinterest for in the
first 6 months.
- Created Instagram Reel strategy that led to a
212% increase in content engagement.
- Created TikTok account and grew to a following of
500+ and 2k likes in first 2 months.
- Co-created and hosted a Facebook Live training to
promote new product feature and educate customers to feel more empowered
to use the feature.
- Owned and executed entire blog strategy from
content planning, SEO research, writing, and managing guest bloggers,
establishing a publishing cadence of an average of 10 blog posts a month. This
strategy resulted in a 165% increase in YoY pageviews, 171% increase in
unique YoY pageviews, and 17% increase in time spent on page YoY.
- Wrote landing page copy optimized for SEO for
targeted social media verticals.
- Positioned Ripl as a small business advocate by sharing
UGC, sourcing and telling customer stories via the blog and social
channels.
