THE PROBLEM
Low System Performance and Sluggishness: Users have reported that the system exhibits low performance and is often sluggish, negatively impacting the efficiency of their daily tasks.
Confusing Buttons and Fields: Interface elements, such as buttons and fields, have been deemed confusing and unintuitive, resulting in navigation and information input difficulties.
Steep Learning Curve: Users have noted that the learning curve for using the system is very steep, meaning that new users face significant challenges in understanding and operating the RES.
Excess of Unused Features: It has been observed that the system contains a large number of features rarely used in medical practice, creating a sense of resource overload and irrelevant information.
Repetitive and Disorganized Functions: Similar functions and related information are scattered across various screens, making it difficult for users to efficiently find what they need.
Inaccurate Terminology: Procedure and button terminology is imprecise, leading to confusion and errors in system usage.

SOLUTION
The analysis of the collected data revealed that user dissatisfaction with the Registro Eletrônico de Saúde (RES) was not just a matter of system performance but rather a complex set of factors contributing to an unsatisfactory user experience. To comprehensively address these issues, we implemented several improvements, including standardizing information input fields and adding descriptions to each field.
These descriptions were thoughtfully designed to ensure accessibility, making the RES more user-friendly for individuals who rely on screen readers. These actions reflect our commitment to providing an enhanced and inclusive user experience.
LEARNING
A user-friendly and easy-to-use interface plays a fundamental role in user satisfaction, brand loyalty, and increased productivity.
