LÉON bar | Restaurant Brand Identity, Logo, Packaging

LÉON is a concept cocktail bar based in Amsterdam, created around the atmosphere of late-night luxury, muted red interiors, metallic reflections and editorial nightlife aesthetics. The project combines brand identity, visual identity, typography, logo design and a flexible design system inspired by fashion photography, after-hours culture and contemporary hospitality branding. 

GOAL 

The main goal was to create a modern and recognizable identity that feels both emotional and premium. During the process, I explored the target audience, nightlife visual culture and modern bar branding trends to build a cohesive system that works across both digital and physical touchpoints. 

CONCEPT 

As a result, the project developed into a complete visual identity featuring a handwritten logo, expressive typography, custom illustrations, posters, social media assets and packaging design. The final system balances intentional imperfection with the quiet luxury aesthetic of the bar, combining raw details with refined minimalism.

Illustrations concept

The illustration system was created using loose hand-drawn linework and intentionally imperfect forms inspired by nightlife sketches, cocktail culture and editorial graphics. The thin irregular lines add personality and contrast to the more minimal and luxurious parts of the identity system. 

The illustrations and patterns were designed to work seamlessly in both digital and physical media including social content, stickers, printed materials, packaging, menus, posters and branded merchandise.
