Overview
Archon is a modern website concept designed for an architecture and interior design studio. The goal was to create a premium digital experience that showcases architectural projects while communicating professionalism, craftsmanship, and trust.
The website balances strong visual storytelling with a clean user experience, allowing visitors to explore projects, understand services, and connect with the studio effortlessly.
Project inspiration follows modern architecture website patterns that emphasize project portfolios, visual hierarchy, and minimalist presentation.
The Challenge
Many architecture websites struggle with:
Overwhelming project galleries
Weak visual hierarchy
Poor storytelling around completed work
Lack of clear calls-to-action
Generic layouts that fail to reflect the firm's design quality
The challenge was to create a website that feels as refined and intentional as the spaces the studio designs.
My Approach
1. Research & Inspiration
We analyzed architecture and interior design websites to understand how leading studios present their portfolios and services.
Key findings:
Large imagery builds trust quickly.
Minimalist layouts allow projects to shine.
Clear navigation improves project discoverability.
Strong typography reinforces premium positioning.
2. Information Architecture
The content structure was organized to guide users through a simple journey:
Hero Section → Services → Featured Projects → About Studio → Testimonials → Contact
This structure helps visitors understand the brand before encouraging inquiries.
3. Visual Design
To reflect modern architecture principles, I used:
Clean grid systems
Generous white space
Elegant typography
Neutral color palette
Large project imagery
Minimal decorative elements
The visual direction was intentionally timeless and sophisticated.
Design Goals
1) Showcase Work Beautifully
Projects are the product. The design prioritizes imagery and project presentation to highlight craftsmanship and attention to detail.
2) Improve User Experience
Navigation and content hierarchy were designed to reduce friction and help visitors find information quickly.
3) Increase Lead Generation
Strategically placed CTAs encourage potential clients to start conversations without disrupting the browsing experience.
