The Local Farmer Coffee Co.

In this project, we were given the brief to produce a logo for a local coffee company that serves their coffee in plain takeaway cups. The brief informs the want for some custom illustrative touches to the company. In terms of colour, keeping it at a two-tone colour scheme would be ideal because of printing costs and being aware of current design trends. 

Over the course of this project, I became invested in the sustainability of design. I think that especially in graphic design, in order to move on in the future, is to become greener and actually design to solve a problem rather than designing without a set issue. 

My set issue that I wanted to focus on was the agriculture lifestyle of coffee planting and the whole process of making coffee. With that I did research on how coffee is grown and how local farmers are not benefiting as much as they should. I wanted to create awareness through this coffee company to give back to the agriculture families that devote themselves to this niche.
