WhatGift (what.gift)

WhatGift is a cutting-edge application revolutionizing the gifting experience. Designed to enhance how users engage with gifting, the app offers a comprehensive suite of features including wishlist creation, group gift idea sharing, personalized gift suggestions, price comparisons, and an intuitive calendar to never miss special moments. By emphasizing ethical operations and environmental sustainability, WhatGift ensures that every gift not only brings joy but also has a positive impact on the community and the planet.

In developing WhatGift, I took a hands-on approach to architecting and managing the database schema, implementing TypeScript edge functions for key features such as user subscriptions, web scraping, and email invitations. I optimized database performance and ensured robust security measures were in place. Integration of FlutterFlow with Supabase was a critical component, where I implemented deep linking, developed custom functions and widgets, and continually optimized app performance.

Additionally, I managed continuous code synchronization between FlutterFlow and external Flutter code, ensuring seamless updates and deployments. My role also involved demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, staying updated with the latest technological trends, and maintaining effective communication with the client to deliver a top-tier product.
