While researching the market, we identified a clear fragmentation in the user experience. AI image generation apps focus primarily on novelty and experimentation but lack monetization pathways. Meanwhile, print-on-demand platforms offer customization but often require manual design steps and complex workflows. There was no unified product that allowed users to:
Instantly generate AI-powered pet images, explore multiple creative styles, save and manage their creations, convert those creations directly into physical merchandise
The challenge was to design an ecosystem that bridges creativity and commerce without disrupting emotional flow.
Visual Identity
The visual language is warm, soft, and playful. Pastel beige and pink tones, rounded shapes, friendly typography, subtle paw-inspired elements, the UI system was built with modular components to ensure consistency and scalability.
Experience Strategy
The product journey follows a natural emotional flow: Discover β Create β Save β Personalize β Purchase. The app is structured into five main sections: Home β style discovery. Create β upload & generation. Gallery β saved artworks. Market β merchandise store. Profile β account & subscription. Every interaction was designed to reduce friction and keep creativity at the center.
Design Process
We created 40+ wireframes covering the full ecosystem: Onboarding & authentication, AI generation flow, gallery management, e-commerce integration, checkout & order confirmation, subscription logic, the focus was clarity, hierarchy, and intuitive navigation.
AI & UX
Since AI generation includes waiting time, transparency was critical. We implemented: clear loading states, generation progress feedback, push notifications when images are ready, retry & HD upgrade options.
The goal was to maintain trust while building anticipation.
Outcome
Funy Paw combines emotional design, AI creativity, and scalable commerce into a seamless mobile experience. The result is: a playful AI-powered ecosystem, strong emotional engagement, integrated e-commerce functionality, clear monetization strategy, a cohesive and delightful brand identity!
