Lead the project, and work on wireframes and mockups.
Problem
The initial 404 page for Wurl was uninspiring and conveyed a negative experience with a large, unwelcoming "404" message. It lacked links to valuable resources or content, missing an opportunity to engage users and make better use of the page’s real estate.
Solution
We redesigned the 404 page to create a more engaging experience, using thoughtful copy to clearly communicate the error and a fun, on-brand graphic to convey the issue in a friendly way. To make the page useful, we included cards linking to relevant blog posts and added a prominent button to easily guide users back to the homepage. This approach not only enhances user experience but also aligns with our branding while making better use of the page's real estate.
