Custom printing platform & order management experience

Designing a seamless ordering experience and scalable management system for a wholesale printing company.

As demand for online printing services continued to grow, the company needed a digital experience capable of supporting complex product customization while simplifying internal operations. The existing website no longer reflected the scale of the business or the complexity of its ordering process.

Our objective was to redesign the entire customer journey—from product configuration to checkout—while creating a scalable interface for managing products, orders, and day-to-day operations. The result is a product that reduces friction for customers and provides a flexible foundation for future growth.

Ordering professional print products involves dozens of configurable options, including dimensions, materials, finishing methods, mounting accessories, and delivery preferences. Presenting this level of complexity without overwhelming customers became the primary UX challenge.

At the same time, internal teams required a more structured workspace to organize orders, manage products, and support business operations through a consistent and intuitive interface.

1. Simplify complex product customization through intuitive user flows.

2. Improve transparency with real-time pricing and order configuration.

3. Create efficient interfaces for managing products and customer orders.

4. Build a scalable design system for future platform expansion.

5. Deliver a faster, more confident purchasing experience.

We redesigned the ordering experience around clarity and flexibility. Customers can configure every aspect of their printed products through a guided builder that provides immediate visual feedback and pricing updates throughout the process.

Alongside the customer experience, we designed an intuitive management interface that streamlines product administration, order processing, and operational workflows using reusable components and consistent interaction patterns.

The product configurator transforms a traditionally complex ordering process into a guided experience. Users can customize dimensions, materials, finishing options, accessories, and additional services while instantly understanding how each decision affects the final product and pricing.

A centralized management workspace helps internal teams process orders, organize products, and monitor daily operations more efficiently. Clear navigation, structured data presentation, and reusable interface patterns reduce administrative effort while improving workflow consistency.

The interface was designed around clarity, trust, and usability. Because users interact with a large amount of configuration data, visual simplicity became one of the project's core principles.

The brand's signature red serves as the primary accent color, drawing attention to important actions without overwhelming the interface. Neutral tones—including white, black, and soft gray—create balance, improve readability, and clearly separate complex sections throughout the product.

Combined with generous spacing, consistent typography, and a scalable component library, the result is an interface that feels modern, approachable, and efficient even when handling highly customized products....

To support long-term product growth, we established a scalable design system built around reusable components, standardized layouts, typography, spacing, and interaction patterns. This ensured visual consistency across both customer-facing and internal interfaces while making future features easier to design and maintain.

The redesigned platform delivers a significantly more intuitive ordering experience while simplifying complex internal workflows. Customers can confidently configure products and complete purchases with fewer steps, while employees benefit from a structured management environment that improves operational efficiency and supports future business growth.
