Traxfield Navigation Platform

Traxfield is a navigation and fleet management platform designed for both individual drivers and teams. The product covers five distinct workflows — route planning, real-time traffic, saved locations, vehicle tracking, and offline maps — unified under a single interface.

The main design challenge was balancing two very different user contexts: someone planning a personal trip and a fleet manager monitoring 24 vehicles in real time. The solution was to scope each section tightly to its job, keep interaction patterns minimal, and let the top tab bar do the heavy lifting for navigation without ever losing context.

The Fleet Tracking section was the most complex to get right. Showing live vehicle status, route deviation alerts, and driver communication all at once required a lot of hierarchy decisions — what surfaces immediately, what lives one tap deeper, and how to make off-route alerts feel urgent without being disruptive.
