Scope
As an established course creator with a track record of successful products on Kajabi, the client set out to develop a new digital training product to meet the strict accreditation requirements for Paramedic recertification. This course was designed to serve multiple medical roles, including Paramedics, Advanced EMTs, EMTs, and EMRs—each needing custom quizzes, gated video lessons, and an automated certification process beyond the capabilities of Kajabi. My goal was to create a seamless yet fully compliant learning experience on Kajabi, supported by strategic custom integrations.
Key Focus Areas
Gated Video Progression: Developed custom functionality to restrict users from fast-forwarding through content. Each lesson must be watched at normal speed, ensuring accreditation compliance and no progress can be made unless the entire video is watched.
Post-Video Quizzes: Built a quiz flow that appears only after lesson completion, preventing the user from advancing. Learners must pass the quiz to unlock the next steps. Every step is gated.
Survey + Certificate Automation: Integrated Jotform survey submission as a mandatory step post-quiz. Once submitted, users automatically receive a completion certificate with their name and date of passing, fully aligned with regulatory expectations.
Time-Limited Access: Configured Kajabi’s offer settings and automation rules to limit course access to exactly one year from enrollment, with optional renewal workflows.
Form Volume Management: Designed and prepared the infrastructure for 163 total Jotforms across all four medical roles, Paramedics, Advanced EMTs, EMTs, EMRs.
Highlights
This project demonstrated the power of Kajabi when paired with custom logic, third-party tools, and accreditation-focused planning. With a blend of video controls, conditional workflows, and automated certification delivery, the system not only meets compliance needs but streamlines recertification for busy professionals. It required both instructional design skills and advanced automations within Kajabi and custom coding.
