Nespresso, a leader in premium coffee, partnered with us to design their Maison Nespresso marketplace, expanding the brand's identity beyond coffee. The objective was to create a seamless digital experience that highlights Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability and design excellence while showcasing eco-friendly products.
Our focus was to craft an immersive marketplace that deepens the emotional connection between Nespresso and its customers, integrating storytelling elements and interactive features. The goal was to inspire users and enhance their engagement, ensuring that every interaction reflected Nespresso’s dedication to quality and environmental responsibility.

Problem

Nespresso sought to extend its brand beyond coffee by launching Maison Nespresso, a curated marketplace for eco-friendly, design-focused products. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate this new offering with Nespresso's existing identity while maintaining the same premium, sustainable values. Additionally, the marketplace needed to foster a deeper emotional connection with users, encouraging them to explore and purchase non-coffee products without diluting the brand’s core essence.

Our approach

Brand Extension: We transformed Nespresso from a product-centric brand to one that fosters deeper, relationship-based connections with its customers. By integrating storytelling and human-centered design, the marketplace emphasized Nespresso’s values of sustainability and craftsmanship. This approach shifted the brand narrative, positioning Maison Nespresso as a lifestyle platform that goes beyond coffee, resonating more profoundly with users.
Enhanced Engagement: To increase consumer relevance and interaction frequency, we crafted an intuitive and immersive user experience that encouraged repeat visits. Interactive features, personalized product recommendations, and a seamless navigation flow made the marketplace more engaging, driving greater customer loyalty and sustained interaction.
Competitive Edge: Maison Nespresso was designed to offer unique value propositions that differentiate it from competitors. The marketplace combined premium eco-friendly products with a superior user interface, creating a distinctive platform that generated additional revenue streams. This competitive edge was reinforced by Nespresso’s commitment to quality and sustainability, ensuring that the marketplace stood out in the crowded e-commerce space.
