Blood Unites Poster Design

My poster has been shortlisted in the @artdonation_ba poster contest. This year’s topic is “Blood Unites – Donation as a Sign of Ukrainian Identity.” I created a data visualization based on the actual demand for blood types and Rh factors in Ukraine. The visual takes the shape of a traditional Ukrainian embroidery pattern.

It shows that all blood types are in short supply. But when we donate regularly and there is no shortage, the pattern – our symbol of Ukrainian identity – becomes complete.
