Animation to the Ukrainian poem «Kryla» («Wings») by Lina Kostenko. With this animation, I express gratitude to all those on whose wings we have been hanging on for all this time.
This animation is my reinterpretation of a famous Ukrainian poem by Lina Kostenko in the modern context — the war in Ukraine. I dedicated this work to February 24, the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
It's been more than a year, and the people of Ukraine have struggled to maintain their freedom and national identity. With this animation, I express gratitude to all those on whose wings we have been hanging on for all this time.
