A small case study, originally created to take part in the Design Challenge by Hatypo Studio and Siklus Exhibition. (June 2023)

Starting from my own perspective about finance, my own and biggest problem is the very large number of digital wallets and banking applications that make it easy for assets (especially in a form of money) to be spread everywhere. Therefore, I tried to validate this problem from several friends with the same case, hoping to find other pain points.

What if... we have a mobile app that can combine several digital wallet accounts or even our banking accounts in one place, one app? We can transfer and receive funds directly through this app, see the total balance and/or from each digital wallet or bank, see a list of transactions from particular digital wallet or bank, see statistics on expenses and income in each certain period, etc.

Research was conducted on friends with the following criteria:

Age 18 to 25

Have multiple digital wallets or banking accounts

More or less made transactions every week or month

Some digital wallets have different way to define their user’s account number

If we can combine digital wallets and bank accounts into one, so can everyone else. How to transfer our funds to their correct account

How to ensure that we are transferring funds from our correct account as well

They also tend to limit features such as transferring funds before we upgrade our account to a Premium account.

The most important concept of the app is...

Users should be able to choose own handle called CoinHub tag, it’ll perform such as any other social app’s handle. E.g. $vickypradana, $hatypostudio, etc.

To send funds, the user is required to add the destination CoinHub account.

To receive or sending funds, the user is required to connect and integrate at least one digital wallet or bank account to their CoinHub account.
