Voice for the voiceless is a mobile app which provides complete solution to pet parents.
Why Voice Application?
My attention draws to this topic very easily as I have been a pet parent for a very long time in my life and can easily understand the needs.
I lost my 3 months old pug due to Canine parvovirus and what I lacked with?
Knowledge, reference, contacts and supplies.
Back then I had no choice other than depending on the offline mouth of word.
I found a NGO which is passionately working for animal welfare called VVF.
Keeping this social cause and my interest in mind I followed further and found that this foundation does not have any application which leads to small impact and less reach to the users.
Solution
I would like to suggest this application to such foundation to add a feather in their good cause.
Process
To ensure a good product I wanted to understand others Pov those who are pet parents or wanted to be the one.
Conduct User Interviews:
This was the time to interview different pet parents to understand their behaviours, preferences, and challenges. Gather insights on how they care for their pets, their pain points, and expectations from a pet care application.
How do you currently manage and keep track of your pet's health and well-being?
This question helps understand the existing practices of pet owners and identifies pain points in their current approach.
Can you describe a typical day or routine related to taking care of your pet?
Understanding the daily routines of pet owners provides insights into the various touchpoints where a pet care app could potentially assist or enhance their experience.
What challenges or difficulties do you face in ensuring the health and happiness of your pet?
This question aims to uncover pain points and challenges that users might encounter in caring for their pets, providing valuable insights into areas where the app could offer solutions.
How do you seek information or advice related to pet care?
Understanding where users currently seek information helps identify potential features or content that can be integrated into the app to provide valuable and sought-after resources.
What features or functionalities would you consider essential in a pet care app?
This question helps prioritize features based on user preferences and expectations, guiding the development of the app to meet the most critical needs of pet owners.
Can you recall a specific instance where you felt frustrated or delighted while interacting with a pet care-related service or application?
By exploring past experiences, this question can reveal specific pain points and positive experiences, offering insights into what users appreciate and dislike in existing solutions.
