Modification to the HDFC Loan Assist " Track Loan Status " screen.

Note: This is a personal project, not commercial or authorized.

To solve a problem It is very essential to observe the real world around us, as many times we do not require a new product; sometimes it just requires an amendment.

The Challenge

I personally use the HDFC Bank loan assist app, and while observing it, I realized that the "Track Loan Status" screen does not provide sufficient information.
To get more information, I have to select the loan file number, and on top of that, I have to do the math to find out how many EMIs are left to pay.
The numerical loan file name makes it difficult to remember the loan.
After selecting the specific loan item, I have to deduct the paid-to amount from the total amount and then divide the remaining amount by the amount of EMI to find the number of EMIs left to pay.
The footer looks dull and does not draw attention.
I wanted to amend it in a way that a user should get the most required information without even opening a loan file, along with a visually appealing way.

The Solution

As a result, the new design of the Track Loan Status screen is as follows:
A user can give a customized name to the loan file to have a better memory of it.
The most useful information, like the due amount, due date, tenure, and purchase amount, is clearly visible on one screen.
The user no longer requires any math; the number of EMIs left will be clearly visible.
A green tick will appear when all EMIs are paid, and a progress circle will show the progress before all the EMIs are submitted.
Clear status Closed/Active draws user attention and provides a more confirmed look.
The user can still see the complete schedule and history of the payment.
Now users can easily get to know if their EMI submission failed as they see the progress circle and EMI count along with the amount paid; there is no need to wait for the mail or a call from the bank.
The new footer is more visually appealing and visible.
*This is not a commercial/official work or not a client work at all, this is just a personal project to showcase design idea. No intents to criticise the brand.
