TruePeer was designed for people who want a simple way to manage crypto and local currency in one place. These users are often frustrated by the complexity of exchanges, P2P transfers, and confusing wallets. They need something secure, straightforward, and trustworthy to help them send, receive, and convert funds without stress.

The goal of TruePeer was to create a modern crypto wallet that bridges the gap between digital assets and everyday banking. The app lets users deposit crypto, withdraw directly to their bank accounts, swap tokens, and manage multiple assets seamlessly. The aim was to build a product that feels simple enough for beginners but powerful enough for experienced users.

My design approach was centered on clarity and trust. I started by mapping the user journey from account creation to transactions, identifying moments that usually cause friction in crypto apps. I used clean layouts, straightforward language, and consistent components to guide users through complex actions like swaps, deposits, and verification. The visual identity is professional but approachable, making TruePeer feel secure without being intimidating.

I asked myself at every stage: how do we make this less confusing? I looked at onboarding first, since that’s where most users drop off. From there, I considered how to structure wallets, token views, and fiat options in a way that feels natural. I leaned on patterns users are familiar with from banking apps and combined them with crypto-native features like wallet addresses and transaction history. The goal was always simplicity without sacrificing depth.

The final design helps users confidently move between crypto and fiat without needing a third-party exchange. It reduces the learning curve for new users and builds trust with clear flows and strong security cues. TruePeer makes crypto more accessible, helping everyday people take control of their money in a modern, seamless way.
