TRANSFER CALC — SOFTWARE PRODUCT LANDING PAGE
PROJECT: BAUVERIS-owned product website for TransferCalc, a WordPress transfer-fare calculator. Separate from the software-development case study.
OBJECTIVE Explain a configurable software product to transport businesses without overwhelming visitors with technical detail. Give prospective buyers clear ways to explore features, understand the workflow and try the calculator.
MY ROLE Content architecture, UI/UX design, responsive WordPress theme development, JavaScript interactions, image preparation and functional checks.
DESIGN AND USER JOURNEY A spacious white layout uses turquoise and lavender accents, clear typography and actual software screenshots. Five selectable introductory use cases tailor the opening message. Four feature tabs explain address suggestions, route maps, optional traffic forecasts and ride enquiries. A second tabbed section walks through route selection, vehicle and extras, pricing and enquiry. Images open in an enlarged view; video loads on demand. The calculator shortcut appears after the visitor reaches the relevant workflow section.
FUNCTIONALITY German and English page versions; responsive desktop, tablet and phone layouts; eight industry use cases; interactive vehicle/return-trip/extras pricing example; expandable technical details and FAQs; software pricing and support information; purchase links; installation guide; and separate calculator pages using the existing WordPress plugin. The software supports configurable tariffs, vehicle capacities, fixed routes, optional Google address search, road routing, maps and traffic estimates, plus ride-enquiry administration.
IMPLEMENTATION Custom WordPress theme with PHP templates, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Locally hosted fonts, reusable content structures, CSS variables, keyboard-operable controls and reduced-motion handling. Actual product captures are used to explain the interface.
DELIVERED OUTCOME A working bilingual product presentation with interactive explanations and a direct route into the calculator and purchase journey. No traffic, revenue or conversion gains are claimed.
