I was contracted to design a report addressing the systemic issues impacting accountability and transparency in Nigerian elections. The report highlights the significant role of Nigeria's youth, who are actively mobilizing at both local and national levels to strengthen electoral transparency. Civic development actors, with a focus on technology-driven tools, support these initiatives. This research explores the impact of civic-tech tools on promoting citizen engagement and government accountability in Nigeria's political landscape, underlining the essential role of technology in shaping modern democratic governance.

Collaborating closely with content editors and strategists at Restless Development UK, I was responsible for designing a cohesive and visually engaging report that aligns with Restless Development’s brand guidelines. My work focused on creating concept infographics, charts, and visuals tailored for both digital and print formats. These elements clearly communicated the report’s findings on the role of Civic-Tech tools and youth engagement in Nigerian elections, especially in promoting accountability and transparency.

Throughout the project, I delivered a suite of customized visual assets that enhanced the report's readability and impact. From infographics and data visualizations to policy briefs, my design approach transformed complex research findings into accessible, actionable insights. This report has since served as an effective tool for advocacy, facilitating informed discussions and engaging stakeholders in furthering electoral transparency and accountability in Nigeria. The client’s positive reception underscored the report’s success in driving awareness and reinforcing their mission to empower youth and promote democratic engagement through technology.
