About ClimateLaunchpad

ClimateLaunchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition. The mission of this programme is to unlock the world’s cleantech potential that addresses climate change.

The programme is one of EIT Climate's KIC's initiatives aimed at fostering climate innovations at all stages.

The Social Media Campaign

Each year, ClimateLaunchpad hosts its Global Grand Finals, a three-day event where cleantech business ideas compete to win training and mentorship to accelerate their idea.

I managed the Social Media communications for Global Grand Finals 2020 with the goal of:

Creating compelling graphic and written content for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook posts;

Narrating the vision of ClimateLaunchpad and its participants through accurate and engaging storytelling;

Ensuring consistent social media coverage through regular scheduling before and during the GGF2020 event;

Leveraging partners' networks to boost awareness during the event.

A focus on global mentors

An important deliverable of the GGF2020 was highlighting the coaches and mentors of the ClimateLaunchpad community in countries supported by Irish Aid.

For this reason, a sub-campaign has been created to reach target audiences of specific countries with a small dedicated budget.

Global Grand Final 2020 Campaign Results

Reports show that during the month I supported the activities of the ClimateLaunchpad GGF2020, Social Media platforms registered:

501 online mentions | + 845% compared to the previous period

550K social media reach | +31% compared to the previous period

1755 social media engagement

161 social media shares

1534 social media likes

Sarah jumped in to help ClimateLaunchpad with the social media content during our Global Grand Final event. It was a pleasure to work with Sarah, she is very experienced, works quickly and managed to produce a lot of content in a short period of time, without losing the overview.
