Role: Art Director at LH Media House, an audiovisual production company. Three years leading the rebrand and then the day-to-day art direction of everything the studio produced and published.

Why rebrand at all

LH Media House was already established in its market, but its visual presence didn't match the work coming out of the edit suite. That gap costs money quietly — it filters the kind of client willing to approach you.
The name was kept. Its recognition was worth more than the appeal of starting over.
The name stayed. The identity changed.

The shift

The identity had to fuse two things that usually cancel each other out: the energy of a young production company, and the reliability a client needs before handing over a budget.

Straight and rounded corners coexist inside the same system. Two typefaces carry it — one expressive and primary, one considered and neutral — so the brand can be loud on a set and quiet on a proposal without becoming two different brands.

What it had to cover

Art-directing a production company means the identity faces contexts most brands never see. It lives on:
Set identity, crew uniforms and equipment
Commercial decks and client proposals
Campaign and institutional content
Photographic tone and audiovisual aesthetic direction
Operational materials the crew handles every day
Set identity: the director's chair

I worked alongside the filming, editing, motion and production teams to hold it together. Not by policing the output, but by making the correct choice the fastest one: documented rules, and templates where the on-brand version takes less effort than improvising.

The brandbook

All of it was written down. A production company has freelancers joining for a single shoot who still need to deliver something on-brand by Friday. Guidelines nobody opens are decoration — these were built to be used under time pressure, by people with no time to learn a system.
