Travelers and casual gym-goers faced friction when searching for temporary gym access. Gym chains operate on long-term memberships; independent gyms lack digital discovery. Users wanted flexibility; gyms had unused capacity. Both sides were underserved.
We built a two-sided platform:
For Users: Instant discovery & One-tap booking & Seamless check-in.
For Gyms: Passive customer acquisition + Revenue from unused capacity.
The core insight? Users didn't need more "gym options"; they needed effortless access to the right gym at the right time.
A peer-review system lets users rate gyms and facilities, building trust and helping future users make informed decisions.
Throughout the design process, I prioritised three core principles:
Frictionless for Users: Every interaction had to reduce steps, not add them.
Viable for Gyms: Features had to be simple enough for gym staff to manage without training.
Scalable Architecture: The design system needed to accommodate future gym types and payment models.
