Chatham County's Small Business Grant Program is a new initiative designed to support minority-owned businesses impacted by COVID-19. With a goal of providing diversity and inclusion, the program aims to empower small minority-owned businesses with grants of up to $25,000.
Our team was tasked with creating over 30 social media posts to promote the program and unify their brand messaging. We also developed newsletters to update the community on the progress of the program. As part of the project for Chatham County's Small Business Grant Program, we streamlined their social media and newsletter process. We developed an editorial process flow and calendar that transformed cluttered emails into a cohesive design process. This streamlined approach helped unify their brand messaging and improve the overall effectiveness of their marketing efforts using Airtable.
Branding and Design
To create a consistent and recognizable brand identity for the program, we developed a branding and design strategy that reflected the core values of the initiative. The design was minimalistic and text-based to maximize deliverability and readability across different platforms. The color palette and typography were carefully selected to align with the county's existing branding guidelines while also reflecting the diversity and inclusion message of the program.
Social Media Posts
We created over 30 social media posts to promote the Small Business Grant Program, using a mix of graphics and text-based designs. Each post had a unique message and call-to-action, encouraging minority-owned businesses to apply for the grants. The social media posts were designed to be eye-catching and informative, ensuring that they would capture the attention of the target audience.
Copywriting and Descriptions
Our team developed compelling copywriting and descriptions to accompany the social media posts. The copy was crafted to be informative and concise, highlighting the key benefits of the program and encouraging minority-owned businesses to apply. The descriptions were also optimized for search engines to ensure that they would rank highly on social media and drive traffic to the grant program website.
Newsletters
We developed newsletters to keep the community updated on the progress of the Small Business Grant Program. The newsletters included updates on the number of applications received, success stories of businesses that received grants, and upcoming events related to the program. The newsletters were designed to be informative and engaging, providing valuable information to the community.
Conclusion
In conclusion, our team worked closely with Chatham County to develop a branding and design strategy for the Small Business Grant Program. We created over 30 social media posts and newsletters to promote the program and unify their brand messaging. By using compelling copywriting, informative descriptions, and eye-catching designs, we successfully captured the attention of the target audience and encouraged minority-owned businesses to apply for the grants.
