iKeep - Copy and paste vault for iOS

iKeep is a vault for the values you type again and again, like Wi-Fi passwords and door codes. I was asked to rebrand it. Every item looked the same, so you had to read each row to find the one to copy, and the Add button sat out of thumb reach.

A new look alone wouldn't fix that, so in the same week I redesigned how it works too: the rows became separate cards, Add moved into thumb reach, and you can make and reorder your own categories. I redesigned iKeep 2.0 and coded the new interface with Claude, including an in-app A/B test.

The A/B test adds the category's symbol to each card. The main measure is how many people copy an item within 5 seconds of opening the list, and the new version only wins if people don't copy the wrong card more often.

After launch, the App Store page got 52% more views in 28 days (300 vs 198), but downloads stayed flat (123 vs 120). More people found the page, but it didn't convince more of them.
