For the last 3 years, I've been contributing to one of the most-read women's travel blogs on the internet, Be My Travel Muse. By adopting the brand's voice and high standard of informative, engaging, and eye-catching content, I have maximized my travel experiences to share my itineraries, tips, and more with our audience.
Problem & Solution 🤝
Be My Travel Muse was looking to incorporate more diverse experiences from other solo female travelers.
Goals/Requirements: • Provide detailed itineraries and travel tips that speak to what women uniquely look for when they travel solo. • Shoot photos that allow travelers to picture themselves in a given place with the hope of inspiring adventurous travel. • Boost site revenue by including affiliate links.
Process 🛣
From writing about and photographing my own travel experiences to amplifying those of the site's founder, I've created travel content that gives others everything they need to start planning the trip of their dreams. I've covered dozens of countries, written complete safety guides on specific destinations, and even created full packing lists and product recommendations to help increase affiliate income.
Results 🎁
I've been able to cover places on the blog that my client hasn't been to yet, photographing my experiences and elaborating on why these places are fantastic for solo female travelers. This project is ongoing and I'm excited to see how my contributions have enhanced the site.
Takeaways 📣
This project has allowed me to blossom creatively and learn valuable lessons on creating engaging content. Working with WordPress has given me great insight into SEO strategies and building eye-catching posts that get travelers excited.
