Soka – Football Performance Analytics Platform

Project Description

Co-founded Soka, a data-driven platform providing football clubs with advanced analytics to evaluate player performance. Developed the MVP, built the financial model and pitch deck, and led the creation of a system that delivers 2,000+ data points per match to help coaches and decision-makers make informed, data-driven decisions.

Challenges & Solutions

Coaches and clubs lacked a comprehensive way to analyze player performance, leading to subjective evaluations and missed opportunities to identify talent.

Built a platform that collects over 2,000 data points per match, paired with video analysis, allowing coaches to make data-driven decisions based on player performance and potential. Automation streamlined data extraction and analysis, improving accuracy and insights. Worked closely with the UI team to design a user-friendly dashboard that visualized performance metrics, helping decision-makers easily identify strengths and weaknesses

Key Contributions

Developed all the metrics used in the platform, including the Soka Score, to evaluate players out of 100.

Created a comprehensive financial model with a detailed 5-year forecast, along with the pitch deck that tells the story.

Tested the concept on the ground, building and validating the prototype through market testing.

Collaborated on UI/UX design, focusing on data storytelling through visualizations that highlighted player performance for easy decision-making.

Integrated video analysis with data to give clubs a full picture of player performance.
