Lumbre — Hotel website template for Framer

A Framer template for small hotels with their own restaurant: rooms, a menu with the 14 allergens, direct booking to your own engine, in English and Spanish.
Lumbre is a hotel and restaurant website template for Framer. I designed it for small hotels that also run a kitchen: rural hotels, country inns, boutique hotels and restaurants with rooms.
Sites like these usually do one job well. They show the rooms and hide the restaurant, or the other way round, and booking happens somewhere else. Lumbre puts the house, the rooms and the table on one site: rooms with their own pages, a seasonal menu with the 14 allergens, offers, the area around the house, events and a journal.
The goal is direct bookings. Every Book button sends dates and guests to the hotel's own booking engine, so the guest books with the hotel, not through a portal.
18 pages · English and Spanish · 3 palettes · 4 breakpoints.

A walkthrough that ends at the booking engine

The home page has a scroll-driven tour of the house. It moves as you scroll, rests in each space and ends at Book. A guest sees the place before choosing dates, which is what a photo grid can't do.

Direct booking, to the hotel's own engine

A hotel doesn't take bookings on its website; its booking engine does. Lumbre has a booking bar on the home page and a modal that opens from any Book button. Dates, guests and promo code travel as URL parameters, so it works with most engines and stores nothing.
Our story. A timeline of the house, the people and a note from the owners. Small hotels are chosen for who runs them.
Phone. Booking stays in a fixed bar at the bottom of the screen, one tap away.
Around here. Nine experiences with filters, time needed, best season, how to get there and a map. The area sells the stay.
Restaurant. The kitchen, opening hours and this week's dishes, for guests who come to stay and for those who only come to eat.

Three palettes, one set of styles

Encina, Teja and Mar share thirteen colour styles named by role: Background, Ink, Accent, Line and the rest. Change the palette and the whole house follows, from the header to the allergen icons. The demo has a switcher, so a hotel can try all three before buying.
Room page. Details, a gallery with lightbox, a guest quote and the practical information a guest asks before booking.

Two languages, both finished

The Spanish version is not a quick pass over the home page. Every page, CMS item, SEO title, alt text and room URL is translated. Publish in one language at no extra cost, or in both with Framer Localization.
Journal. Six long notes with photos inside the text, for search and for guests who plan ahead.
Celebrate. Weddings, groups and the whole house, with the spaces, how it works and a quote form.
Rooms. Six rooms from the CMS with type filters, each with a price per night and its own Book button.

What you get

— 18 pages: Home, Rooms and room page, Restaurant, Menu, Offers, Around here and experience page, Our story, Celebrate, Contact, Journal and note, three legal pages, 404 and a Style guide.
— 5 CMS collections (Rooms, Menu, Experiences, Journal, Downloads) wired to lists, filters and detail pages.
— A complete Spanish version: pages, CMS, SEO titles and descriptions, alt text and the URLs of rooms, experiences and notes.
— 13 colour styles named by role, 14 text styles and three palettes: Encina, Teja and Mar.
— Cookie banner ready for Google Analytics, contact and quote forms, PDF downloads, Google Maps without an API key and documentation on the canvas.

A restaurant menu with the 14 allergens

In Spain and the rest of the EU a restaurant has to show the 14 allergens. Every dish carries them as line icons drawn for Lumbre, which take the text colour on any palette. The menu lives in the CMS, so the kitchen changes it without touching the layout.
Good for: rural hotels, guesthouses, boutique hotels, country inns, agriturismi and restaurants with rooms. Places that sell a room, a table and the area around the house.
Limitations, so you know before you buy. Light theme only. Booking goes to the hotel's own engine: Lumbre does not take payments. Five CMS collections, so publishing needs Framer Pro, and publishing both languages needs Framer's Localization add-on. Everything is demo content: photos from Unsplash and legal texts with an invented company.
