Introduction

Aera started with their exfoliating gloves as their main and sole product, and later on, they expanded their skincare line with more products. They Β transformed their branding from a gentle image to a more lively and playful one, catering more to the Southeast Asian market.

My Role

I was assigned to design both the first and second versions of the website. I first created the design on Figma, and then I brought it to life by developing and launching it on WordPress.

How I carried out the project

For the first version of the website, the client desired a very gentle and feminine image for Aera. I incorporated rounded and delicate elements throughout. I showcased the features and benefits of their first product while introducing their brand in a captivating way.
For the second version of the website, they shifted to a vibrant and fun image. The client wanted to target the younger generation as well and desired a bolder appearance. To avoid looking overwhelming, I kept the design simple but included small elements that made their products pop. Staying true to their company goal of simplicity yet effectiveness, I created a lively and engaging website.
As someone who is fond of skincare and feminine design, I enjoyed working on this project. It felt effortless as I connected easily with the brand, and there were very few challenges along the way.
