Our new Don't Cry Over AI—eBook + Prompt Guide (https://contra.com/products/uTV7Jr7j-dont-cry-over-ai-e-book-and-prompt-guide-support-sick-kids) is LIVE! This 41-page playbook is for entrepreneurs and creatives who want leverage—not overwhelm. No hype. No panic. No chasing shiny tools. Just real creativity. 🖤 Although AI is important right now, we also recognize what’s truly important—the people we love. That’s why $1 of every sale of this ebook is going to SickKids hospital (https://www.sickkids.ca/) in Toronto. It’s the kind of work no machine could ever replace. 🖤 ▶ Buy it on Contra (https://contra.com/products/uTV7Jr7j-dont-cry-over-ai-e-book-and-prompt-guide-support-sick-kids)▶ Or view it embedded on Afton’s site (https://www.aftonnegrea.com/shop)

Hey everyone! I just created my first digital product: auraOS. It’s an AI-powered operating system designed for freelance designers who want more clarity, structure, and calm in their daily workflow, from managing clients to generating prompts, tracking time, and creating clean invoices in one focused space. I built it for creatives who already know how to get clients, but want a better way to execute and deliver consistently without burnout. Sharing another Contra project that I loved. Last year I collaborated with @James Jung on a series of Filterbaby ads (http://filterbaby.com). James’ cinematography was stunning, and together we landed on a look that feels both science-driven and beauty-forward.

I just wanted to enter in this #makeathon for fun. In my country and city, Quetta Chai(tea) is famous and its a lifestyle, once you have it, there is no place for coffee. This is a game like: Papa's Burgeria but not that extensive xD Hope you guys enjoys it. I might update assets for characters later :D Try It Here https://shove-cloak-88369425.figma.site Threads: https://www.threads.com/@thedesigneranasahmed/post/DVY_Rx4DFTS

Memory Radio is a single-page interactive experience where a vintage rotary dial lets you tune through seven decades of design culture: the 1960s all the way to now. The interaction IS the concept. You don't browse Memory Radio, you tune it. Built entirely with Figma Make. 🎛️ Live site: memory-radio.figma.site (http://memory-radio.figma.site) 🔗 Figma Community File: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1610046055459565936/memoryradio 💼 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/brianmakumi_figmamakeathon-figmamake-interactiondesign-activity-7434264284475314176-ki_W?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAACwHbSABXdQJwygg9X-BTTXwCwKPVtiRZVQ 🐦 X/Twitter: https://www.x.com/uixmakumi/status/2028499373068591543

What if you could build your signature scent without ever stepping into a store? Introducing Scentd, a digital perfumery experience built entirely in Figma Make. Fragrance is my favourite thing in the world, so when the Makeathon dropped I knew exactly what I was building. Scentd lets you feel like a real perfumer. Layer your notes, watch your blend come alive, and walk away with a scent that's completely yours. It even recommends real fragrances you can actually buy, matched to your blend. And when you're done, you can save your scent profile as a card to keep or share. If you'd rather skip the mixing, we got you. Scentd gives you 3 questions to answer and this helps us find your perfect match. Try it yourself here: https://pouch-geo-45018659.figma.site/

Hey Contra + Figma folks! I'm Izzy from Lagos, Nigeria (@IsraelAdegbulu1). Just submitted Encarta Echo for the #FigmaMakeathon. Goal: Bring back the joyful, exploratory feel of old Microsoft Encarta and make learning interactive, personal, and culture-shaping again by blending global knowledge with Afro-Nigerian heritage. You start in a cosmic knowledge orb, search or tap a topic, and get immersive articles with AI-generated visuals, parallax timelines, hotspots, cultural remixes (Yoruba patterns, Afro-futurist twists), and a quick quiz. Built fast with Figma Make: AI prompts for dynamic content, variables and conditionals for logic, scroll/hover interactions for smoothness. Link: https://encartayorubahistory.figma.site/

I built my sample portfolio as an interactive 3D room using Figma Make. https://baton-sway-12272497.figma.site Instead of a traditional portfolio site, I recreated my bedroom in Blender, brought it to life with animation, and made every object in the room clickable. Each hotspot opens a slide-in panel showcasing a different category of my work: Visual Design, Motion Design, Brand Identity, and Animation. The sphere lamp, the book shelf, the posters on the wall, even the character running on the treadmill, they all mean something. Every click tells a story. It is also uploaded on Figma community: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1609343334029057439 https://x.com/TheElzenitho/status/2027655365442105753?s=20 #FigmaMakeathon

Most avatar builders are just static pictures. For the #FigmaMakeathon, I used Figma Make to build a character that actually feels alive. https://patio-thorn-71742756.figma.site It’s not just about clicking buttons; it’s about how it feels to use it: 👀 It Watches You: The eyes and face follow your mouse cursor around the screen. 🎲 Shake to Shuffle: Want a random look? Just shake your mouse back and forth to roll the dice. ⚛️ Real Code, Not Just Pics: It doesn't just save an image. It gives you the actual React code and Lottie animation files so you can use them in your app immediately.

I reimagined the colour picker for the #FigmaMakeathon. The colour picker hasn't really changed in 20 years. It's usually the same spectrum, the same slider, and the same hex code. But that's not how many people actually experience colour. Colour can come from everyday things — a photo, a place, a fabric, or even a moment. EXTRACT lets you drop real images onto a canvas, pull the colours that catch your eye, and watch a full brand identity build itself from your choices. Logo, typography, persona, tone of voice, business cards — all from what you noticed. Try it here: https://text-sepia-34911037.figma.site

Understanding Our Changing Planet 🌍 Many students learn about global issues like climate change or urbanization in theory, but struggle to truly understand their real impact. There is a gap between academic content and meaningful comprehension. Because of that, I built an interactive educational prototype that helps students aged 16–18 explore the evolution of our planet through urban growth, climate change, and sea level rise. By combining real data with visual storytelling, the goal is to make complex global changes clearer, more engaging, and easier to connect to the real world. I’ve always loved exploring art, but we can’t visit every museum or discover every story. ORBIT brings art from around the world together in one beautiful, interactive space. Iconic and unknown works coexist, information is clear, and exploring becomes a journey all accessible anywhere. Built with Figma Make I saw the email only yesterday, but decided to participate for fun anyway Limited storage makes this more of a prototype so apologies for the unpolished demo! https://angel-chant-72776616.figma.site/ #FigmaMakeathon

𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗫-𝗥𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗮𝗯 I design websites. And I’ve realized something. Most websites don’t need more traffic. They need clarity. Before every redesign, I audit. But audits usually live inside static PDFs. So I built a tool: 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗫-𝗥𝗮𝘆 (https://websitexraylab.figma.site/) — a diagnostic experience built entirely in Figma Make. Instead of reading an audit, users experience their website being analyzed in real time. Built during #FigmaMakeathon. Try it here: https://websitexraylab.figma.site/ Social post on X (https://<https://x.com/Hina_HMofficial/status/2028474008002249209?s=20>) and LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hinamanzoor_figmamakeathon-activity-7434239520046309376-ivhk?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAC6nFzQBTNaJMucQYWh3wqXMB92qzXxwIFk) for Submission.

Introducing Freelancer Quest 👾 Most freelancers are Level 99 at their craft but feel stuck at Level 1 when pitching themselves. So for this Figma Makeathon, I wanted to build something to help with that - but I didn't want it to feel like every other productivity tool - I wanted it to feel like a game. Core Features: ⭐ Keyboard-first UX: navigate using only your keyboard - it's faster and more accessible for one-handed use ⭐ Meet Pixel: I hand-drew an NPC in Procreate to add a personal touch; I’m a sucker for pixel art! ⭐ Full retro vibes: from the palette to the 8-bit sound fx, everything is designed to make applying for a job feel like the ultimate side quest Vision: While this version focuses on design and interaction, I plan to integrate OpenAI later to make it as helpful as can be! https://sharp-salad-33899406.figma.site

2026 so far: deep in AI workflows and fresh designer tools: Framer, Paper, Unicorn Studio, Figma Make, Claude Code, and quietly exploring co-creating something bigger. Still too early to say much. But this I know for certain: what a year to be building as a designer!
