Eighth Generation x Snoqualmie Tribe — E-Commerce Brand Concept & Redesign Overview: A complete web design and e-commerce build for Eighth Generation, an art and lifestyle brand proudly owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe. Built on Squarespace using custom Fluid Engine layouts, this project focuses on cultural storytelling, high-fashion editorial aesthetics, and honoring Indigenous sovereignty through the "Inspired Natives®, Not Native-Inspired" philosophy. Key Features:  Cultural Brand Integration: Incorporated Coast Salish identity through custom Lushootseed typography (⁠sdukʷalbixʷ⁠) and native-led storytelling copy.  Curated Artist Spotlights: Designed editorial bio sections showcasing key Indigenous collaborators (Kira Murillo, Michelle Lowden, Giizh Agaton Howes) alongside founder Louie Gong.  Functional Storefront: Created a streamlined 3-column product showcase for the Gold Label Wool Blanket Series with accordion detail tabs and dynamic gallery views.  Responsive Editorial Layouts: Applied image masking, custom color palettes, and structured typography hierarchy for a seamless mobile and desktop browsing experience.

PADDLE SIGNAL is a sovereign real-time field operations terminal built for Tribal Canoe Journeys across the Salish Sea. Designed and developed by Healing Hawk Studios, the platform bridges active communication between canoe families on the water, support boat captains, and shore crews at host landings. Key Features & Finish Layer Execution: • Custom Formline Brand Integration: Native digital Formline paddle artwork built directly into header and footer terminal consoles. • Dual-Language Cultural Identity: Integrated Lushootseed terminology (sqʷəl, sčəɬxʷ, yəbil, dxʷsəɬqəb) across navigation and live statuses. • Finish Layer Block Transforms: Applied dynamic rotational transforms to field-need clipboards and live video cards to recreate an active tactical field desk. • Kinetic Typography & Telemetry: Stretched variable font styling tracks route waypoints across Salish Sea host territories alongside embedded live video feeds. • Marine VHF Dispatch Console: Built-in quick-action buttons for Channel 16 emergency aid, ground crew volunteering, support boat logistics, and direct platform protocols.
