The story began in a quaint little kitchen, nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado. On March 27th of 2020, the first loaf of sourdough came out of the oven and the rest is history. Driven by his curiosity and his passion for baking, Andre experimented on one loaf after another. Tinkering with different recipes, fermentation times, and scoring techniques, finding what was working and what wasn’t. As every new culinary journey begins, there is a series of new techniques to master, and maybe the most important when it comes to baking, not burning your bread! As his work progressed, he began to share his process on Instagram. As Andre continued on his fermentation journey adventure, he wanted to bring on a fellow “fermenter”. An individual who he knew he could rely on to brainstorm, test, and possibly discover something great along the way.
