Recently helped Wraith Media update their website. We had some fun incorporating these interactions into their Film page. The hero at the top is inspired by the A24 website that has a similar slider. Looking forward to helping build out the remainder of the site.

His logo existed in exactly one place. Etched into the glass sign at his trade-show booth. No file. No typeface. So I rebuilt it, and drew him a seal to go with it. His name on the top arc, his town and his year on the bottom. John has engraved keepsakes in McMurray since 2002. On paper that is a trophy shop. It isn't. Look at the portrait he etched into glass. So the work leads and the service list waits. Every photo on the site is something he made. What does your business have that nobody ever sees?

🎉 What do you build when a business has one logo and nothing else? Little Fawns is a licensed home daycare in Canonsburg, PA. Twelve spots, ages six weeks to six years, run by the owner on her own floor. What they had was a clip-art fawn, five rainbow letters, and a phone number baked into the artwork. No palette, no typefaces, no rules for any of it. The hard part wasn't the design though. It was the brief. Big centers feel safe because they're big. Small reads as risky. So "small" had to stop being the apology and start being the argument. That's the whole brand. Twelve spots is the pitch, not the limitation. After that the system was straightforward. I drew a new vector mark and kept the five colors out of their old logo, because families already recognize them. Orange is the only color that ever means "do something." The other four decorate and never ask for anything. Fredoka for headings, Baloo 2 for the wordmark, Nunito Sans for body. Rounded and warm, but properly drawn. Friendly without reading childish. The headline came from them. "Small in size. Big on love." was already sitting on one of their own social graphics. It just needed to be the first thing you read instead of the last. Then it goes to work across thirteen sections. Color banding paces the scroll, one accent carries every action, and each block answers a question a parent actually asks before they call. Every factual claim is logged against a source before it ships. The state license, the 5.0 rating from four reviews, the twenty years of experience. Nothing invented and nothing rounded up. This one's a concept build, so it isn't their live site. Swipe for the design board, the brief, and the build. What's the last brand you saw that turned its smallest feature into its main argument?

Pontiva Advisory — Brand & Website for an Independent Energy Advisor Emily Watt spent two decades inside Goldman Sachs, bp, and Deutsche Bank before going independent — bridging global capital and African energy markets as her own advisory. The brief, in her words: "Professional yet discreet. Less is more. Don't show all her cards." That's the tension every solo-advisor site has to solve. Too much credential-dropping and you look like you're trying to prove something. Too little and a founder can't tell if they're talking to a real operator or a consultant with a Canva template. I designed and built a site that resolves it with restraint instead of volume. What that looked like in practice: A dark navy-and-gold system that reads as institutional, not startup — Cormorant Garamond for editorial weight, Source Sans for clarity Her own logo's arrow mark, pulled out and reused as a system element across every section instead of a one-off flourish A credential bar for Goldman Sachs, bp, and Deutsche Bank that states the pedigree once, quietly, and moves on A contact flow built for a warm introduction — form plus scheduling — instead of a generic "get in touch" form that could belong to anyone The result is live at pontivaadvisory.com (http://pontivaadvisory.com). It doesn't try to convince you Emily is credible. It just doesn't get in the way of the fact that she is.

I built this free tool for figuring out what to blog about next. Type in a keyword, and it pulls real search queries from Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, YouTube, Wikipedia, and Google News — groups them into actual postable topics, and scores each one 0–100 so you know if it's worth writing. Real questions people are typing, tagged by what they actually want (info, comparison, ready-to-buy), plus whatever's trending on the topic right now. No invented numbers, no made-up "difficulty" score — just what's really out there. Free, no sign-up: https://bloghands.com/blog-topic-research-tool

SiteHut’s packaging redesign is built around the idea of Learning in Motion. Rather than relying on traditional academic symbols, the identity uses a custom geometric pathway system to represent progress, connection, and the different directions learning can take. White creates the clean foundation requested in the brief, while Pacific navy provides credibility, signal blue adds energy, and learning lime creates a distinctive point of recognition. The graphic system extends across multiple package surfaces so the shipment feels like one continuous branded experience rather than separate decorated panels. The result gives SiteHut a contemporary educational identity that feels energetic and approachable while remaining structured enough to communicate trust and professionalism.
