JOE & THE JUICE 20th Anniversary Artwork by FLM Studio (https://www.flm.studio) To celebrate 20 years of JOE & THE JUICE, FLM Studio created a bold, hand-illustrated artwork celebrating two decades of energy, flavour and community, while staying rooted in JOE’s distinctive visual world. Hand-drawn. Playful. Unapologetically indie. Packed with JOE-themed motifs, expressive characters and playful concepts, the artwork was designed to feel vibrant, energetic and unmistakably JOE. A bespoke illustration created for JOE’s signature pink cups, with applications across packaging, social media and limited-edition merchandise. #branding #branddesign #illustration #packaging #foodandbeverage

Designing websites and apps that are impossible to forget.

A photo viewer inspired by the classic 3D View‑Master. I wanted to rethink how we look back at our memories on our phones, and bring back that slow, nostalgic feeling instead of the usual quick swipe through. So I attempted to mimic the View‑Master lever, you press and pull the circle in either direction to switch images. Drag it right to move forward, drag it left to go back. I added the ability to move backwards (which you can’t do on the real thing) because it just felt more natural to give people that freedom. For the UI, I designed it to be clear and simple whilst allowing the image the user is viewing to be the main focus. Designed by me in Figma, then built in Figma Make. My last submission is voice notes reimagined for spoken journals and daily reflections, taking inspiration from dictaphones and cassette players for both the interactions and UI design. The goal of this concept was to explore how I could emulate the aesthetics and functionality of old school technology and bring it into the digital world, while staying true to its original purpose. When the user presses record, the film, represented as wheels, starts to spin. The user can rewind by pressing and dragging the left wheel in an anticlockwise circular motion. To fast-forward, they can do the same with the right wheel, this time moving in a clockwise circular motion. Designed by me in Figma, then built in Figma Make. Case Study A women-focused gym in Las Vegas wanted to deepen member retention and make the “between sessions” experience feel just as supportive as the gym floor. The challenge wasn’t motivation alone but time, mental load, and consistency, especially for members juggling work, parenting, and unpredictable schedules. Many women were trying to stay on track, but the gap between intention and action was happening in the small moments: not knowing what workout to do, feeling too overwhelmed to start, or falling back into convenience eating when the day got busy. To solve this, I’m building them a mobile app (iOS + Android) that makes progress feel simple, guided, and emotionally supportive with a specific focus on women and mothers. Rather than cramming in features, the app is designed around the real behaviours that drive results: quick workouts that fit real life, calm nervous system support, positive identity reinforcement, and easy nutrition choices. The biggest friction point in fitness apps is choice overload, too many options leads to doing nothing. So the fastest friction remover is a one-tap “Do This Now” plan The app recommends a workout, a short meditation, and a simple meal option based on the member’s available time and energy level (including a dedicated Mom Mode path). It turns the app into a daily guide, removing the thinking and replacing it with action. The gym gets a member experience that feels personal and supportive beyond the building, and members get a system that meets them where they are, with structure, calm, and progress they can actually maintain.

Got a powerful app idea that gamifies real-world experiences? Let’s turn it into a custom mobile app. A clunky user experience kills engagement fast. Your users deserve an app that is lightning-fast, intuitive, and built to perform seamlessly across both iOS and Android. We handle end-to-end mobile app development, from interactive UI/UX prototyping to secure backend integration and live App Store publishing. I just built this app for a customer Think Pokémon GO meets iNaturalist, a gamified wildlife exploration and instant AI identification mobile app. Users snap a photo of nature or wildlife to instantly trigger real-time AI species identification, "capture" finds into a personal digital collection, level up through a dynamic rarity system (from Common to Legendary), and compete on a global leaderboard. It transforms passive outdoor education and exploration into an addictive, highly engaging digital ecosystem that drives long-term user retention and brand loyalty. Ready to bring your unique app concept to life? Send me a message to get started!

Dug an old concept draft out of my digital archives this morning, one of those ideas that felt like futuristic when I first sketched it out years ago. Back then, the concept was simple on paper: walk down any high street, snap a quick photo of a local business storefront, and instantly generate a real-time digital maturity score, pinpoint operational friction points, and craft a tailored outreach pitch on the spot. At the time, visual AI was clunky, mobile edge processing was too slow, and natural language models weren't nearly nuanced enough. It felt like an over-engineered pipe dream. Fast forward to right now: with multi-modal vision models, location APIs, and modern cross-platform mobile architecture, the technical barrier has completely collapsed. What used to require complex computer vision pipelines can now run seamlessly in a native mobile app. How the workflow breaks down: Snap the Storefront: Capture a photo of a physical business to pull its visual footprint and lock in live GPS coordinates. Instant AI Audit: Vision models evaluate the storefront visual data alongside location signals to return a digital readiness score (0–100) and highlight key vulnerabilities (e.g., missing app presence, low local search visibility, manual booking friction). 1-Tap Pitch Dispatch: A personalized cold outreach email is pre-filled automatically and ready to send via the device’s native share sheet. Sometimes the best software ideas aren't brand new, the technology just finally caught up to the vision. What’s an old project or "future concept" sitting in your drawer that’s suddenly 100% buildable today?
