Investors see hundreds of decks, and you definitely need one to make them pause, read, and remember. I had so much fun designing this organic deck boiler plate to help founders turn vision into a story any investor can understand.

Hi, I’m Jelena — historian, tour guide, educator, and SaaS developer working across culture, AI, and product design. I move fluidly between teaching, guiding, and building tools that streamline workflows, enhance learning, or simply spark delight. My work spans AI research, project management, secure delivery, and rapid prototyping. Now that I’ve joined Contra, I’ll start showcasing a few of my side projects — the things I build to explore ideas, test patterns, and refine my craft. Micro Syllabus is a modular course-creation and learning platform powered by an AI-driven syllabus generator. More in the 1st comment!

I publish research-backed articles analyzing AI implementation, neurodiversity, and emerging technologies on https://medium.com/@jstricak and jelenastricak.dev (http://jelenastricak.dev). With a Master's in History and five years teaching experience, I combine academic research methodology with practical insights from building AI systems and living with ADHD/OCD. My work translates complex technical concepts for both specialist and general audiences, bridging educational pedagogy with technology adoption. Articles have been cited by external publications including YourTango, covering topics from comparative AI model analysis to accessibility and Web3 development.

Have you happened to read Part 1 of this series yet? If not, it’s right here: https://www.weteachfashion.com/blog/%2Fwhat-makes-a-fashion-course-worth-paying-for In Part 1, we talked about the real pinch point fashion experts are feeling right now, not burnout, not lack of talent, but the daily pressure of turning deep expertise into something stable and future-proof. Today, I ask a more challenging question: Why do so many fashion courses, even those built by experienced professionals, fail to land? In Part 3 of this series, I will walk through the most common traps I see and, more importantly, how to avoid them so your course actually works for you. If you’ve ever wondered whether your course could feel clearer, calmer, and more useful without you having to perform, hustle, or do more than you already do well.

This series started with a simple observation: fashion experts aren’t short on talent; they’re feeling the pressure of relying on time-based work in a rapidly changing world. In Part 1, we explored that pressure. In Part 2, we looked at what actually makes a fashion course worth paying for: clear outcomes, thoughtful structure, and learning that fits real life. Which leads to the following question: If we know what good looks like… why do so many fashion courses still fail? That’s what Part 3 covers, not to criticise, but to highlight the common traps and how experienced professionals can avoid them. If you’ve ever thought, “I could create something better, I just don’t want to get it wrong,” this one’s for you.

Many platforms producing accredited continuing professional development (CPD) courses for lawyers (https://www.fortunusmedia.com/cpd-courses) are now actively encouraging AI-assisted content production. At first glance, the results can read as authoritative. However, that surface credibility is actually the crux of the problem. Read to learn why here: https://www.fortunusmedia.com/post/cpd-fluency-trap You’ll also learn how AI-assisted legal CPD actually needs to change to reduce risk, and what a responsible workflow actually looks like.

🌍 Wild Earth filmed in Sora | Journey Earth contains an extraordinary range of ecosystems that stretch from tropical rainforests to polar ice, from coral reefs to high mountain forests. This film travels across multiple regions of the planet, following wildlife and landscapes that shape the living systems of our world. The journey begins in Botswana’s Okavango Delta where seasonal floodwaters support elephants, hippos, crocodiles. Across the Pacific Ocean the Galápagos Islands reveal volcanic landscapes where giant tortoises move slowly across arid terrain while marine iguanas gather along lava shorelines. Patagonia stretches across windswept plains and glaciers at the southern edge of South America, while Antarctica presents a frozen world where penguins, seals, and whales occupy the cold southern ocean.

🌿 Amazon, Brasil - An Introduction | Filmed in Sora The Amazon Rainforest stretches across northern Brazil and forms the largest tropical rainforest ecosystem on Earth. This immense rainforest landscape spans millions of square kilometers of dense jungle canopy, winding rivers, flooded forests, and remote wetlands. Towering trees rise above a layered green canopy while countless tributaries flow through the forest toward the great Amazon River. These environments support one of the richest concentrations of biodiversity anywhere on the planet. Wildlife of the Amazon Rainforest The Amazon supports an extraordinary diversity of wildlife across its forest canopy, riverbanks, and waterways. Jaguars move silently along rainforest rivers as dominant predators within this ecosystem.

🦎 Galapagos filmed in Sora Galapagos - A Living Laboratory of Evolution The Galapagos Islands lie in the Pacific Ocean roughly 600 miles west of Ecuador. These volcanic islands formed through underwater eruptions along the Nazca tectonic plate. Over millions of years the islands rose from the ocean as isolated ecosystems shaped by equatorial currents, volcanic terrain, and geographic separation. This isolation produced one of the most unusual wildlife environments on Earth. Species evolved here along independent evolutionary paths. Giant tortoises roam volcanic plains. Marine iguanas adapted to feed underwater along lava coastlines. Sea lions gather along beaches while seabirds circle high volcanic cliffs.

🦍 Virunga filmed in Sora Virunga - A Living Volcanic Landscape Virunga lies in Central Africa along the borders of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda. The region forms one of Africa’s most dramatic volcanic landscapes. Towering volcanoes rise above dense equatorial rainforest. Deep crater lakes sit inside ancient volcanic calderas. This terrain creates one of the richest biodiversity regions on Earth. Wildlife of the Virunga Mountains Virunga supports an extraordinary range of wildlife adapted to high-altitude tropical forest. The region protects the world’s remaining populations of mountain gorillas. Golden monkeys travel through the upper canopy. Forest elephants navigate dense vegetation along steep volcanic slopes. Birds such as the great blue turaco and the grey crowned crane add vibrant color.
