My time as a Contra Ambassador has come to an end 🥲 It was such an enriching experience that, although it's only a two-week program, I felt like I was an ambassador for months. When you’re engaged with your tasks and you’re constantly learning, time expands and slows down ∞ because you’re savoring every moment and trying to make the most out of the experience. I really enjoyed being part of this project, and I fell in love with – not only Contra’s ideas – but with the people behind the project as well 😍

In our fast-paced, tech-driven world, certain tools have become our best allies for productivity and efficiency. They can simplify our lives and declutter our minds, taking off some of the daily stress and turning boring tasks into interesting ones. Although it can be intimidating at first, learning new tools is stimulating and fun! It is also necessary, especially with the tech adoption acceleration that has resulted from COVID-19. So, have no fear! 💪 Here are two of the tools we used as ambassadors, that now I can’t live without👇

Notion & Loom. You’re gonna use them pretty much daily, so get ready to discover their potential! They offer a very dynamic, personal, and friendly approach to both project management and feedback collection. The way Sam, Zöe, and Madi set up Notion to manage the ambassador program is super clear and creative. Kudos for that! 👏

I had never provided real-time feedback before, and it’s such a fun experience! With Loom, you’ll be asked to explore the website and take on certain tasks while you record your reactions and processes. The opportunity to describe the ideas and figure things out on the spot feels way more natural than I expected. It also proves to be useful for the people on the other side, who will be looking at your videos to improve the product. After a couple of weeks doing this, I’ve become more self-aware of how I react to a brand's products, design, and text. Being able to voice your thoughts and feelings is important. I enjoyed it so much that now I’m trying to find excuses to record myself testing projects and ideas… Is this the beginning of my podcasting career? 😎

I find it exhilarating that getting involved in global movements is so common and natural now. I love connecting with people from all around the world 🗺, it’s super valuable for personal development. During my time as a Contra Ambassador, I had the chance to talk to people from different parts of the US, Australia, Europe, and more. The Slack community is friendly and welcoming, Zöe, Sam, and Madi will make you feel at home. I take some time every day to talk to other ambassadors and members of the community, exchanging ideas, GIFs, book recommendations, feedback, and more. We support and care for each other.
