Turning User Insights Into Business Growth Strategies

Here is an uncomfortable truth about traditional consulting. It tells you what to do. It tells you why you should do it. But it almost never tells you how to actually make it work in the real world , with real people, real constraints and real uncertainty. That gap between knowing and doing is where most strategies die. Traditional consulting has three critical blind spots and most businesses do not realize they are paying for advice that misses all three. Day 2 of this series breaks down exactly what those gaps are and why Design Thinking was built to close them. If you have ever received a consulting report that sat in a drawer and changed nothing ... this post is for you. Your business deserves more than a framework. It deserves a strategy built from what your users actually experience. That is what I do and the results speak for themselves. 📩 Explore my work or drop me a message. Let us find what your business is really missing. #DesignThinking #ConsultingInsights #BusinessStrategy #GrowthConsulting #Innovation #HumanCenteredDesign #IIMTrichy #StartupGrowth

Most businesses solve the wrong problem brilliantly. Design Thinking exists to make sure you never do that. Before any strategy. Before any solution. Before any execution , you need to truly understand what problem you are actually solving and whose life it affects. That is what Design Thinking does. It is not a trend. It is not a buzzword. It is a structured way of thinking that the world's most innovative companies like IDEO, Apple, Airbnb, IBM use to build things people actually want. Day 1 of this series breaks down what Design Thinking really is — in plain language, no jargon. Save this. Share it with someone building something. And if your business is struggling to grow, losing customers quietly, or solving problems that keep coming back ,that is usually a sign the real problem has never been properly understood. That is exactly what I help businesses uncover. 📩 DM me or visit my profile to see how I have done it for real businesses. #DesignThinking #GrowthStrategy #BusinessConsulting #Innovation #StartupStrategy #CustomerExperience #IIM

A 73% reduction in absenteeism without increasing salaries. Sounds unlikely.: But after observing frontline FMCG sales representatives for two months, the real issue became clear: The problem wasn't the people.: It was the system they worked in.: This case study shows how ethnography, behavioral design and process innovation transformed motivation, accountability and performance at the ground level.🚀

Thangam Aval Mill had built a strong B2B reputation but was experiencing growth stagnation. Through deep user research we identified a significant and largely untapped B2C opportunity the business had never fully explored. Using the full design thinking framework — empathy mapping, journey mapping, buyer utility analysis, prototyping, and live customer testing — we redesigned the entire customer experience from entry to purchase. The real problem was not the product. It was the experience surrounding it. Narrow pathways, no price boards, confusing navigation, a single hidden QR code, and zero brand identity were silently pushing walk-in customers away. After prototyping and testing with real customers we achieved 70% customer adoption of the redesigned journey, reduced purchase time by 33%, drove 60% combo product uptake, and eliminated all navigation complaints post-redesign. A complete growth strategy roadmap and strategic cascade was delivered for sustainable B2C expansion.

Finally Complete!!🥳 Presenting Nayak 🦸 My Official submission for the @Contra HQ x @Bubble Challenge Category: Social / Community 🔗Preview Link: https://arjustings-92273.bubbleapps.io/version-test/ (https://arjustings-92273.bubbleapps.io/version-test/)Nayak (/naa-yek/) n. Hindi for hero Someone with unique strengths, hidden potential, and a story worth telling. The idea is simple: everyone carries a superpower inside them. Something they're naturally great at but rarely stop to notice. Nayak helps you discover that hidden power, give it a name and a face, and share it with a community of people doing the same. - Starting from the AI base Nayak began with a single prompt. I used Bubble's own prompting guide to write a tight, well-structured first prompt. Clear about the app's purpose, the screens it needed, the data behind them, and the visual direction I was going for. It paid off immediately: the Bubble AI builder generated a solid, properly wired UI foundation on the very first try! Navigation and core pages already in place, not a loose skeleton I'd have to rebuild from scratch. From there I leaned on Bubble's AI agent to move fast. Spinning up the additional screens and UI states I needed, refining layouts, and wiring flows without hand-building every element. It turned the usually-slow part of a build into something I could iterate on in minutes. - What Nayak does A short, deliberate 5-question quiz reveals your hidden superpower. The Anthropic Claude API interprets your answers and generates a personalized power! Its name, its description, and its personality. The Pollinations API generates a one-of-a-kind character illustration for it, so every result is a unique, custom hero card for you! No two alike. Your power then joins the community wall, where you can explore everyone else's superpowers and like the ones that resonate with you. - Category: Social / Community Nayak is built around shared discovery, not solo results. The quiz is only the entry point. The heart of the app is the community wall, where every user's superpower lives alongside everyone else's. You can browse the powers other people have discovered, see what makes each one unique, and like the ones that resonate with you. It turns a personal moment of self-discovery into something collective: a growing, feel-good feed of people celebrating what makes each other special. It's playful, personal, and a little addictive! Part personality quiz, part social feed, all built around one feel-good idea: there's something special in you. So explore Nayak today and find your superpower!🤫

Presenting - Silver Line 🌥️ https://silverlinespace.figma.site My Config Makeathon Submission! A helpline for hearts that can't quite see the bright side today. 🌥️ The Problem We all carry small struggles around with us. A rejection email, a plan that fell through, a rough day at work, a friend who didn't text back. None of them are the end of the world, but they pile up. And on the wrong day, even the little things feel heavy. Most of us weather them alone and in silence, scrolling past everyone else's highlight reel while quietly having a hard time. There are apps for big crises and apps for vanity metrics, but very little for the everyday, low-grade cloud that just needs a kind word from a stranger. ☀️ The Solution Silver Line is a communal sky where strangers help strangers spot their silver lining. Share your cloud. Sign in, step into the sky, and post the little problem weighing you down. Set how heavy it feels, then send it up. Be someone's silver line. Open any cloud and leave a message of encouragement, a kind word, or a bit of perspective. Loved someone's comment? Send a ray of sun to show you appreciate it. Watch clouds turn happy. When you can finally see the bright side, tap "I see the silver lining" and watch your cloud become a happy cloud. The goal is simple: make every cloud in the sky a happy one! Because no one should face their problems alone. Safety rails (community flagging + admin moderation) keep the sky a kind place. 🛠️ The Process & Figma Tools Used The whole thing was built predominantly in Figma, powered by Figma Make. Planning: Mapped the idea and concept with an AI agent before touching design. Figma MCP: Built the entire design system and variables directly in Figma, fast and clean. Figma Design Agent: Spun up the major screens in minutes. Figma Weave + Figma Draw: Generated the cloud assets and visuals; Draw was a joy for the finishing touches. Figma Make: The heart of it. Prompted my vision and watched it come to life, iterating across versions. Used Figma Make's Select Edits for precise manual tweaks (images, text, padding) to save AI credits. Supabase:Connected for persistence, so clouds, messages, and rays of sun are saved between visits. A real end-to-end Figma workflow, from design system to a live, interactive product. 🔗 Link - Try it out yourself! 🚀 Live Working Prototype: https://silverlinespace.figma.site *** Cannot provide figma community link as this project is connected to Supabase! *** 👤 Built by Arjun Haridas, Product Designer, Bangalore, India. Originally designed and built during the Config Makeathon period. Huge thanks to Figma for the makeathon and to Contra for hosting. And to everyone who's ever been the silver line to someone else's cloud you're the reason this exists. 😊🌤️ #FigmaMakeathon #ConfigMakeathon

Had a fun weekend building Merisole ☀️ Designed with Google Stitch. I'm a senior product designer working on e-commerce sites every day, so my real question going into this challenge was practical: how easily does Stitch slot into my actual workflow? Could I use it to spin up a polished, client-ready option in a single sitting or even take it all the way to a shippable site? To test that, I asked AI to create a fictional footwear brand, Merisole, and treated it like a real client project from brief to launch. How Stitch fit into the workflow Before generating anything, I wrote a custom design.md (http://design.md). Type scale, color tokens, spacing rhythm, the editorial tone I wanted Merisole to carry and uploaded it into Stitch as a design system. That single step is what made the rest of the build feel coherent. Every screen Stitch streamed onto the canvas already spoke the brand's language, so I wasn't fighting drift between sections. This is exactly the part of my normal e-com workflow that usually eats hours! Getting AI tools to respect a brand spec was something that Stitch handled cleanly. By the way, the stream on canvas feature was one of the coolest interactions I've seen so far! It was like having a designer design on your screen remotely through AnyDesk! From there I worked mostly through in-place AI edits: clicking a section, telling Stitch "to add it to another variation," or "add a hover animation on the cards," and getting changes in seconds. The streaming generations meant I was reacting to a real interface taking shape instead of waiting for a static result. The motion work is where Stitch surprised me most. Native hover states, shader backgrounds, and scroll-linked animation. All authored inside the tool, no handoff to a separate motion app, no code wrestling. Then I exported the build out to Netlify in one step. New features I leaned on Custom design.md - design system applied across the whole project (kept every screen on-brand from the first generation) Streaming generations to canvas (the whole first pass) In-place AI edits via prompts + point-and-click (most of the polish phase) Native motion, hover states, and shaders on HTML canvas Netlify export (final deploy) Feedback on the platform Coming at this from a daily e-com design seat: Stitch genuinely shortens the distance between brief and client-ready. The design.md - design system flow is the underrated hero, uploading a brand spec once and having Stitch honor it across every streamed generation is the closest I've felt to "AI that respects a brand." The streaming canvas is amazing to say the least! It collapses the "describe - wait - judge - re-prompt" loop into something closer to direct manipulation. In-place edits felt the most like real design work. I stopped writing long prompts and just pointed at things. Two things I'd love next: An option to tweak elements without having to prompt it. And a way to save in-place edit "recipes" so I can reapply a vibe across sections without re-describing it. Stitch didn't feel like an AI tool I was wrangling. It felt like a canvas that happened to understand what I meant. Merisole came together in a single sitting because of that, and I'm walking away convinced Stitch has a real place in how I'll pitch and build e-commerce work going forward. Check it out: Live site (really fun to click around): https://merisole.netlify.app Stitch project: https://stitch.withgoogle.com/projects/834230787052196219

Planning a trip to Vietnam? 🇻🇳 Here are 3 common mistakes many travelers make: ❌ Trying to visit too many cities in one trip. ❌ Booking hotels just because they're cheap. ❌ Not checking flight timings before planning the itinerary. A good travel plan helps you save time, avoid unnecessary stress, and enjoy your holiday even more. Before booking your hotel, plan your itinerary first. It makes a big difference. #VietnamTravel #VietnamTour #TravelPlanning #TravelTips #PhuQuoc #DaNang #Hanoi #HolidayPackages #TravelConsultant #MICEBizGlobal
