Contest Atlas is a local-first submission manager for short-form writers — designed to keep pieces, versions, opportunities, deadlines, bios, cover notes, and submission requirements in one place. The part I cared about most: Prepare & Check. Pick the exact version you’re submitting + the opportunity, and Contest Atlas helps check things like: word-count limits eligibility requirements anonymity rules required bios / cover notes entry-fee status deadline state version conflicts before you send the wrong draft somewhere It also tracks submissions and simultaneous-submission conflicts, and your writing stays on your device unless you explicitly export it. I built it after realizing the actual writing is only half the job. The other half is remembering which version went where, whether the publication allows simultaneous submissions, whether your name is hiding in a document somewhere, and what deadline you swore you were definitely going to remember. Still refining it, but this is becoming one of my favorite little systems I’ve built. #IndieHacker #WritingTools #ProductDesign #WebDevelopment #Writers #CreativeTools #BuildInPublic

That’s what I build: websites with structure behind them. Recent work has included interactive resource platforms, service-area systems, intake flows, admin tools, and content-heavy websites designed to stay usable as they grow. Site was originally built in WordPress using a custom theme and plugin that I developed but back in June I did a 1:1 migration and rebuilt the exact same design using Sanity for backend to replace WordPress dashboard and Astro/CloudFlare Pages replaced the dedicated VM on google cloud. In 2013, I designed this logo for a client using just the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. This was created long before AI tools could generate a logo via prompt! 🧙 The client loved this logo so much, they didn't have any revision requests and it's still in use to this day over ten years later. It works on the web and in print, too! I'm more of a full-stack software engineer, but I'm a musician/artist with an eye for design and I'm proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite.
