Projects in CaracasProjects in CaracasSnake was one of the games I played the most as a kid: simple, addictive, and honestly still one of the best game loops out there. What I could never get past was the interface. So I decided to fix that, with an aesthetic I love: vaporwave.
🕹️ Play it here for free: grecia-v.itch.io/serperwave (http://grecia-v.itch.io/serperwave)
Built with Phaser 3, TypeScript, and Vite.
It has 13 levels with a full neon vaporwave look, a combo system that shifts your loot odds the longer you survive, 5 lives, and a real ending in Normal mode. There are three modes: Normal, Runner (one hit and you're out), and Random: endless levels with no finish line, my favorite.
Can you beat all 13 levels? I still haven't. Maybe it's just too hard? On June 24th, we faced the biggest tragedy in our recent history in Venezuela.
Amidst the chaos, dozens of children went missing or were reported kidnapped. We needed an immediate tracking solution.
With no time to spare, I used Lovable to build and deploy Volver a Casa Vzla (https://volveracasavzla.lovable.app/) in just a couple of hours. This proved the immense power of AI in crisis response—turning what usually takes days into a live platform that solves life-or-death needs in hours. So far, we've registered 73 cases, resulting in 1 family reunion.
We are deeply grateful for the international support funding critical supplies like medicines, tools, and masks.
