Copying a competitor’s website structure might feel like the fastest way to get started.
It’s also one of the fastest ways to look exactly like everyone else in your industry.
A strong website structure should be built around your customer’s journey:
What do they want to know first? What objections do they have? What makes them trust you? What do they need to see before they’re ready to take action?
Your competitor’s website can be useful for research. But it shouldn’t become your blueprint.
Your customers have different questions. Your brand has a different story. Your website should reflect that.
Good web design isn’t about following the category. It’s about finding your place within it

Exactly this, Raheel. Competitor sites are great for research, but once you start copying the structure too closely, the brand loses its own logic. Building around the customer journey is what actually makes the site feel intentional.
