I've redesigned my portfolio five times in the past five months.
Each time, I told myself: this is the one. Then a new tool dropped, a new recruiter asked for something different, a new creative direction pulled me somewhere else. The current state of web design is in complete limbo, and sometimes it feels like all the tools I learned in school are irrelevant.
My new site is intentionally raw HTML with an open console letting you have some fun redesigning the front end. I had Claude come up with a couple of examples, mainly to poke fun at B2B SaaS, and job applications asking for "experience building websites for (insert niche client type)". Looking for a fine arts gallery? A brutalist tech portfolio? An animation-heavy creative splurge? You design it.

Another quick project ⚡️ but with a slightly different approach.
Worked closely with the marketing team on this one.
We were building a landing funnel, but instead of starting from the lead magnet, we started from the end.
First, we created the full course page to test if the offer would actually be interesting for the audience.
The page was used for ads, with a form to see if the program fits the user – and if the user fits the program.
Only after that, we built the checklist lead magnet funnel to bring cold traffic and warm it up before sending people to the course page.
Projects like this are always fun because it’s not just design – it’s real marketing logic, testing, and iteration 🚀
Building the course page first to validate the offer before creating the lead magnet is genuinely smart strategy. Most people do it backwards. This is design thinking meets conversion logic.
With every branding project, I design and present 2–3 different options for my clients, sometimes even one is enough when the vision is crystal clear.
The reason I show more? I like to push myself more creatively to explore beyond what's safe and normal.
A client might think they know exactly what they want, but the moment I go beyond the safe choice, they're often surprised by how much they love the more creative direction.
This was exactly the case working with BraveDuck+Robots, an experience design studio built around creativity, strategy and technology.
The brief was clear, but pushing past the obvious unlocked something far more interesting.
At the end of the day, we're here to serve our clients, but sometimes working with them means showing something they didn't know they needed.
I completely relate to this. There’s something really rewarding about pushing things beyond the brief.
A good designer can stay within the brief, but a strong creative director should be able to see what the brand could become and take the client along that journey.
