Shipping a playable prototype instead of a deck changes the review entirely - the client stops critiquing screens and starts reacting to how it feels to play, which is a lot harder to argue with. Was the loading experience in scope from the start, or did that become its own piece of work once you saw people sitting through it?

The client didn’t specifically ask for a loading screen. I added it myself while polishing the prototype because I wanted the experience to feel complete from the moment it starts. I also included both a gameplay video and a playable link so the project could be experienced...
