I tested the same Jakarta pixel-art poster direction across three AI image models:
• Image 1: GPT Image 2
• Image 2: Nano Banana 2
• Image 3: Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana feels more believable in object rendering and consistency.
But GPT Image 2 still has stronger composition, visual hierarchy, and overall artistic sense.
That’s the interesting part about designing with AI.
The tool can generate images.
But the designer still needs to judge direction.
Because good design is not just about making something look real.
It’s about knowing what feels intentional.
AI gives you options.

I've always wanted to open a cozy little café. Books on the shelves, jazz on vinyl, matcha on the menu, and stories tucked into every corner.
So I imagined one.
Using Envato's AI tools and assets, I built the identity for Stories' House. The logo, menus, packaging, and brand system all came together through AI.
But the soul didn't.
That came from the prompts I wrote, the references I obsessed over, the directions I rejected, and the feeling I kept chasing until everything belonged to the same world.
AI created the visuals.
I directed the vision.

How do you brand a ritual instead of a product?
Trenti is a premium concept store in Buenos Aires. Fire pits, artisan cutlery, curated gifts. Not a restaurant, not a BBQ brand. A store built around one idea: Fuego & Materia. Fire and matter.
So the identity is literal about it. Embers on raw concrete, a restrained serif, a palette pulled from the materials themselves (paper, iron, wood, charcoal) instead of the saturated orange every fire brand defaults to.
The exploration ran across Nano Banana, ChatGPT and Claude for prompt-building. Three engines to generate directions fast. But the final moodboard was curated and composed by hand.
