Here's what you should focus on to get over a BILLION views per year on Instagram:
1. Hooks are key. Whether it's a slideshow or a reel, the first slide/three seconds will make your post pop or flop.
2. Hashtags aren't relevant anymore, so don't worry about them.
3. Market research (very important): don't reinvent the wheel, copy what works.
4. Add easy to read captions, using simple vocab and short sentences. Avoid chunks of text.
5 If you have fewer than 5-10k followers (depending on the size of your niche), focus on reels. Carousels do NOT work, as they will get little to no reach more often than not.

The vertical reel format for something as inherently wide-stage as theatre is a smart translation. Did the cast or the director see the final edits before you posted, and what was their reaction?
Would you rather have more views but less engagement, or more engagement but fewer views?
I'd pick the second one every time, and I have the numbers to explain why.
Over the last five months as content strategist for WayMaker Media (contracted by March Forth Agency), a Black culture editorial brand, views went down.
Engagement went up 72.5%. Shares up 149%. Net new followers up 9k+. which is 102.4%.
Fewer people scrolling past. Far more people actually doing something.

ZOE – Social Media Ads Pack
We developed a premium ad creative suite for ZOE, a leading scientific platform that replaces generic diets with personalized microbiome and metabolic data. The main challenge was to translate complex biohacking research, clinical percentages, and body markers into simple, clickable social media formats. The final deliverables include a high-converting carousel, a static single ad, and a dynamic video asset optimized for Meta and LinkedIn.
The visual style is built on strict data-driven minimalism using clean backgrounds, a precise modular grid, and sharp typography. Technically, the focus was on advanced data visualization–turning complex research into high-contrast charts, body-marker graphs, and engaging myth-busting layouts, while strictly adhering to platform safe zones to drive app installs among entrepreneurs and high-performers.
