I recently worked with the amazing brand Grover’s Lane, crafting dog beds inspired by mid-century design, the kind you’ll want in your home even if you don’t have a dog.
Mid-century dog beds is such a fun brief, it doesn't scream 'pet product' at all. Was the merch, like that sweatshirt, part of the original scope, or something that came later once the brand direction landed?
Seasonal identity for Beat Film Festival. The challenge: create a concept where cinema helps audiences process a turbulent cultural and historical moment — staying relevant and resonant rather than offering escape from it.
The identity metaphor for BFF is a shared journey — audience and festival alike searching for solid ground. "Get on Board" is an invitation to hop into the same boat, riding together the waves of emotion sparked by film and shaped by the turbulence around us. Beat becomes the lighthouse in that storm — a sense of safety, belonging, and a moment worth sharing.
The brief here was simple: make the arch the star. Everything else - tile, cabinetry, floor pattern - had to support that one architectural move without competing with it.
Full case study is in my portfolio. Curious which angle you'd pick as the hero shot - the straight-on symmetry or the top-down detail?
Hands down the straight-on symmetrical shot for the hero! It frames the arch brilliantly and shows off the architectural balance. Photorealism and material balance are on point! 🛁🔥
