From Idea to Launch: How I bridge business vision and tech delivery
Most product failures aren't tech failures, they're translation failures. The business wants X, engineering builds Y, and nobody catches the gap until it's expensive to fix.
Here's the process I use to close that gap, from first discovery call to launch:
1. Discovery : understand the "why" before touching the "what" 2. Requirements & BA process : turn fuzzy vision into specs engineering can actually build 3. Stakeholder alignment : keep business and tech speaking the same language throughout 4. Delivery coordination : track scope, timeline, and risk so nothing slips silently 5. Launch : ship with confidence, not crossed fingers
I mapped this out in detail (see the visual on my profile) after realizing most of my best client outcomes came down to getting this sequence right, not any single tool or framework.
